At the London Cosmetic Clinic we can transform your face with the use of top quality derma fillers. These can be used in the chin and cheek areas to boost and define cheekbones to completely transform the contours of the face, add definition around the chin area and enhance a chin that lacks shape, correct any asymmetry in the face and lift the mid-section of the face. These enhancements are a more effective solution to traditional cheek implants as they look more subtle and natural, are less problematic (cheek implants can cause asymmetry and complications) and give predictable results that you can be in control of.
We use hyaluronic acid based fillers Restylane SubQ and Juverderm Voluma for these treatments to help plump out the skin and add smoothness and volume. They both biodegrade naturally over time, are completely safe and clinically tested and give long-lasting, smooth results. Juvederm Voluma is one of the latest hyaluronic acid volumisers and has been specifically designed to restore lost facial volume in areas such as the chin, cheekbones and cheeks. It lasts around 6-18 months after treatment.
What to Expect from the Treatment
Prior to the treatment we will discuss with you your desired results and then mark out designated areas on your face. We can apply numbing cream if you prefer.
The filler is then gently inserted and you will be able to see instant swelling. We can then add more if you prefer. As the area will swell up a bit more when the filler is first applied you will not see the final result for around 3-4 weeks. This final result will then last around 18 months and you can choose whether or not you want any top-up treatments or adjustments.
Derma fillers are not permanent, do not require invasive surgery or general anaesthetic and are designed to work with your natural tissue.
After the treatment you should avoid touching the area and applying makeup for at least 6 hours to prevent infection. We also advise that you sleep on your back for the first 2-3 nights so that you avoid pressure on the treated area. There can be some mild swelling, bruising or pain but this will settle within 1-2 days and you can take painkillers.
The cost of the treatment depends on how much of the product is used. Treatments typically start at £395 and we will discuss cost with you at your consultation.
